Meet Ms. Savannah!

“I was fortunate enough to grow up owning and riding horses. So with 23 years of horse experience including 10+ years of lessons I had decided teaching was something I wanted to do. Being able to get certified through the Certified Horsemanship Association really helped boost my confidence and helped me make my final decision.

When I finally got to teach my first few lessons on my own, I had quickly found that teaching beginners of all ages is something I am passionate about. Whether that be English or Western disciplines, I wanted to welcome new equestrians into the industry with open arms. Starting something new can be scary at times especially being around such big animals.

Watching my students leave with a smile and new appreciation for their lesson horses was so fulfilling. Being able to help build a riders confidence in or out of the saddle is important and I would love to provide that for any new rider. Even if your lesson is just a quick brush session, I want you to have left feeling great about what you accomplished and walk away having learned something new.

Horses have always been a huge part of my life and I have seen first hand some of the great things even just petting a horse can do for people! Who knows where it will take you. For me it all started with a little pony ride. (We even bought that little pony! She is the sweet pony pictured below.) “
